Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Plant Operations Manager to lead our production team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial management and excellent leadership skills.

  • Develop and execute productivity plans to meet business objectives.
  • Collaborate with support teams to improve safety, quality, and production.
  • Manage day-to-day operations to deliver on key performance indicators.
  • Scope and implement process improvements to enhance safety, quality, and production.
  • Ensure all production employees follow company policies and procedures.
  • Establish and maintain 5S standards and ensure compliance.
  • Document supervisor performance and accountability.
  • Model effective problem-solving and ensure corrective actions are taken.
  • Ensure a safe work environment is established and maintained.
  • Communicate with supervisors to evaluate risk and non-standard work conditions.
  • Act as a liaison for senior leadership and all employees.
  • Develop and execute training plans for direct reports.

Requirements
  • Experience managing a team of 2+ salaried employees and 40+ indirect employees.
  • High school diploma or equivalent education; community college or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years industrial/manufacturing experience.
  • Proficient in basic computer knowledge, i.e. Word, Excel, Internet, etc.
  • Self-motivated and detail-oriented.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Demonstrate analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Pass a Policy Elements Background Check and drug screen.
  • Ability to work in extreme weather conditions and rotating shifts.
  • Ability to work at heights over 50 feet and lift 50 pounds.
