Overview of Responsibilities
  • Conduct virtual assessments to understand students' emotional and behavioral needs.
  • Provide virtual counseling and support for students facing social and emotional challenges.
  • Collaborate with parents, teachers, and administrators to develop intervention plans that promote student success.
  • Offer guidance and resources to parents and caregivers to ensure their children thrive emotionally.
  • Engage in virtual meetings to contribute to the development of strategies that help students grow and flourish.
  • Maintain accurate records of interactions and progress.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in the field.

Qualifications:

  • Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology.
  • Valid School Psychologist certification or licensure in Maine.
  • Proven experience providing counseling and social-emotional support to students.
  • Strong virtual counseling and communication skills.
  • A passion for helping students succeed socially and emotionally.
