Job Summary

UT Health San Antonio is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for operating MRI scanners to obtain high-quality images for use by physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of pathologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate MRI scanners to obtain diagnostic images
  • Transfer, position, and instruct patients regarding the procedure
  • Select appropriate imaging techniques and enter patient data
  • Transfer images from disk to magnetic media and develop film in an automatic processor
  • Perform quality assurance on MRI equipment and matrix camera
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology from an approved AMA school
  • Registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
  • One year of related experience
