Job Title: MRI Imaging Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled MRI Imaging Specialist to perform diagnostic procedures utilizing MRI and imaging equipment. The ideal candidate will have knowledge in all areas of Magnetic Resonance Imaging, positioning, procedure preparation, and technical factors associated with the MRI systems.

Key Responsibilities:
Perform MRI procedures and ensure quality control in the MRI area
Utilize RIS (scheduling exams, patient tracking, film tracking, proper completion of exams) and other equipment used in MR
Demonstrate enthusiasm in performing and accepting work assignments
Assess situations, consider alternatives, and choose an appropriate course of action
Provide care to pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients

Requirements:
Graduate of a Radiology School
Previous experience in an out-patient MRI role desirable
At least 1 year of experience working in an acute care setting
ONE of the following certifications within 6 months of hire date: American Registration of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (MR) certification or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist (ARMRIT)
Current CPR certification
