Key Responsibilities:
As the Lead Innovation Strategist, you will:
  • Drive the innovation pipeline by collaborating with brand and innovation managers to pinpoint viable R&D project candidates.
  • Oversee the preparatory phases of projects, including defining scope, managing timelines, onboarding stakeholders, selecting team members, budgeting, and sourcing expert resources.
  • Network effectively within R&D and commercial sectors to remain informed about emerging trends that can influence current and future projects.
  • Enhance processes and structures to establish a robust R&D program, while testing and implementing novel methodologies to foster innovation.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to transition concepts into product test launches within a six-month timeframe, which includes developing product profiles, research plans, and financial projections.
  • Identify and navigate obstacles to success, providing regular updates to internal stakeholders.
  • Mentor and guide teams in creating consumer-centric, scalable Minimum Viable Products (MVPs) for real-world testing.
  • Communicate progress on new initiatives to both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment.
  • Conduct follow-ups post-project closure to confirm the successful transfer of plans to the commercial team.

Compensation:
The salary for this position is competitive and commensurate with experience.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:
  • A Master's degree or equivalent in Marketing, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
  • A minimum of five years of experience in brand management or a similar role within the healthcare or food and beverage sectors.
  • Proven experience in new product concept development, validation, and launches.
  • Expertise in leading innovation and brand strategy.
  • Experience in managing cross-functional teams in consumer care, medical, and Vitamins, Minerals, and Health Supplements (VMHS) categories.
  • Familiarity with qualitative research methodologies and data analysis.
  • Strong strategic planning skills for pipeline development and breakthrough innovation.
  • Experience in executing and analyzing pilot tests in retail and direct-to-consumer settings.
  • Ability to assess market opportunities through a combination of commercial and consumer insights.

Domestic travel may be required up to 20% of the time. Remote work options are available.
