Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Technologist I to join our team at InsideHigherEd. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing histo-compatibility testing, including HLA typing, cross matching, and leukocyte antibody screening, in support of our Tulane Transplant and other programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform histo-compatibility testing, including HLA typing, cross matching, and leukocyte antibody screening
  • Quality control and assurance responsibilities
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science degree in a biological science
  • Current (or eligible for) Louisiana Clinical Laboratory Scientist License
Preferred Qualifications
  • American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) Medical Technologist (MT) certification
  • American Board of Histo-compatibility and Immunogenetics (ABHI) certification as a Certified Histo-compatibility Technologist (CHT) or Specialist (CHS)
  • Experience in Histo-compatibility testing
