We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at LCMC Health Children's Hospital New Orleans. As a Travel MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for operating MRI equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
Responsibilities- Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
- Prepare patients for MRI procedures, including explaining the procedure and positioning them correctly.
- Monitor patients during procedures and ensure their safety and comfort.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses.
- Maintain accurate records of patient procedures and images.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest MRI technology and techniques.
- BLS, ARRT (MR), and ARRT (R) certifications required.
- Minimum of 1+ years of experience in MRI technology.
- Ability to work rotating shifts, including weekends and on-call.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Trauma Level I and II experience.
- Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) certification.
