We are seeking a Substitute Staff Member to join our team at Steve & Kate's Camp. As a Substitute Staff Member, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our camp programs. Your primary responsibility will be to facilitate activities, make connections with campers, and monitor safety and wellness.
Key Responsibilities- Facilitate Activities: Design and lead engaging activities that promote learning, creativity, and fun for our campers.
- Make Connections: Build strong relationships with campers, understanding their needs, and providing a supportive environment for them to thrive.
- Monitor Safety and Wellness: Ensure the physical and emotional well-being of our campers, reporting any concerns or incidents to the camp administration.
- Organize Activity Spaces: Create and maintain organized and approachable activity spaces that promote a sense of community and inclusivity.
- Collaborate with Team Members: Work closely with other staff members to ensure seamless transitions and effective communication.
- Age: At least 16 years old.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 months experience working with children, with 1 year preferred.
- Certifications: First Aid & CPR certified prior to the start of camp.
