We're seeking a skilled Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for creating a memorable experience for our customers by providing exceptional service, preparing and serving high-quality drinks, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.

• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and serving drinks with a smile.
• Create a personal relationship with customers by learning their names and favorite drinks.
• Maintain a clean and professional appearance, including a clean uniform and a well-groomed appearance.
• Prepare and serve a variety of drinks, including espresso-based drinks, pour-overs, and specialty drinks.
• Operate espresso machinery and other equipment safely and efficiently.
• Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time to meet customer needs.
• Contribute to store profitability by following cash handling and cash register policies and procedures.
• Help maintain a positive work environment by being a team player, providing feedback, and supporting colleagues.
• Identify customer needs and up-sell relevant items.

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
• Possess a current ServSafe Certification (or obtain one upon joining Jaho).
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Ability to stand for long periods, move about the café, and lift heavy weights.
• Fluency in English.
