As a Barista, you'll be responsible for crafting exceptional customer experiences, from greeting customers to serving expertly prepared drinks. Your passion for coffee and wine will shine through in every interaction.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing exceptional customer service, ensuring a warm and welcoming experience for every guest.
• Developing a personal relationship with customers by learning their names and favorite drinks.
• Maintaining a clean and professional appearance, adhering to high standards in the preparation and serving of drinks and food.
• Continually educating yourself on all things coffee and wine, tasting and troubleshooting products to ensure the highest quality.
• Contribute to store profitability by following cash handling and cash register policies and procedures.
• Helping your team maintain a positive work environment, guiding and training new hires.
• Identifying customer needs and upselling relevant items.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
• Possess a current ServSafe Certification (or obtain one upon joining Jaho).
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Ability to stand and walk for shifts, move about the café, and occasionally lift or move heavy weights.
• Fluency in English.
• Ability to work more than 40 hours a week, as needed.
