Lentech is seeking a skilled Unix Administrator to provide expert-level support for a large Federal application environment. The ideal candidate will have at least six years of experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux in a production environment, with a strong background in development and/or scripting. Key responsibilities include patch management, upgrades, and security hardening, as well as development and scripting to automate tasks and troubleshoot application issues. The candidate should have experience supporting Apache Tomcat and UKG webTA and/or GovTA COTS applications. In this role, you will work as part of a larger team, with some after-hours and weekend support required to support patching, release management, and incident response activities. The candidate must be able to pass a background investigation and be cleared at the Public Trust level by the Federal agency we are supporting. AWS experience is a plus, and the expectation is for the candidate to have or obtain an AWS cloud certification within the first year. Lentech will assist with online training. Requirements

  • BS degree or 6 years of Unix Administration experience
  • Light scripting experience
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work well with a diverse and interdisciplinary team
