Job Title:
Linux Server Administrator

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Linux Server Administrator to join our team at Info Way Solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Red Hat Linux and Solaris, with experience in troubleshooting hardware and software issues in virtual and standalone server environments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support for Linux servers, including OS troubleshooting, repairing, and debugging.
  • Support server remediation activities and troubleshoot as necessary.
  • Automate routine jobs with shell and Python scripts.
  • Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers in support of business processing requirements.
  • Resolve operating system problems identified in logs and coordinate with vendors for resolution.
  • Support weekend activities, including rebooting servers and working with application teams.

Requirements:
  • Four to seven years of system administration experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Red Hat OS in both physical and virtual environments.
  • Strong knowledge of patch management and automation.
  • Knowledge of UNIX shell scripting.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills on Linux OS.

Certifications:
  • Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE).
  • Red Hat Certified Architect (RHCA).
