Position Summary:

Justice Law Corporation is a dedicated plaintiff-side law firm that is expanding its operations into Washington. We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Attorney who is committed to excellence and achieving results. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of four to nine years of legal experience, demonstrating the ability to balance empathy with diligence. This role requires a confident individual with an entrepreneurial mindset who can thrive in both collaborative and independent settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent clients in legal matters pertaining to Washington's wage and hour laws.
  • Play a significant role in the litigation of employment-related claims in federal and state courts, as well as before arbitrators.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and prepare for trials, mediations, and arbitrations.
  • Manage all aspects of cases, ensuring deadlines are met and maintaining organization in a fast-paced environment.
  • Communicate effectively with various external parties, including attorneys, employers, and administrative agencies.
  • Assist in the growth of our established California practice.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Juris Doctor (JD) required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 4-9 years of relevant legal experience, particularly in litigating and managing complex cases.
  • Expertise: Strong knowledge of wage and hour law.
  • Litigation Skills: Proficiency in all stages of the litigation process, including drafting pleadings, motions, and briefs, as well as conducting depositions and court arguments.
  • Communication: Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential for effective client representation and negotiation.
  • Able to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
