Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the coordination of nursing service activities for the scheduled working shift, ensuring safe, efficient, and therapeutic patient care.
  • Relate effectively with other shifts for continuity of care and take charge in the absence of the Director of Nursing Services.
  • Manage personnel, including RNs, LPNs, and CNAs, to ensure adequate staffing and coverage.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve patient care and nursing services.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as pharmacy, lab, and radiology, to ensure seamless patient care.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree in Nursing required.
  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the State of Georgia.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required for hospital setting.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Graduate of a Bachelor's Program in Nursing.
  • ACLS certification in a hospital setting.
