Job Overview

Dansources Technical Services is in search of a skilled Software Systems Engineer to contribute to innovative solutions for intricate challenges. This role is pivotal in enhancing our manufacturing processes.

The selected candidate will be responsible for supporting various manufacturing facilities by implementing effective solutions for custom web applications, conducting evaluations of manufacturing systems, and providing daily support for the Manufacturing Execution System (MES). This includes training personnel and developing comprehensive training and process documentation.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • · Document and analyze business and system processes to develop alternative solutions for custom manufacturing applications, including any necessary data migration.
  • · Facilitate training sessions for users on alternative solutions for custom manufacturing applications.
  • · Offer troubleshooting assistance to end users across manufacturing, engineering, production control, supply chain, and quality assurance to resolve daily inquiries.
  • · Support users by reviewing process documentation for system setup, data creation (such as BOMs and Routings), and execution of manufacturing transactions through both individual and group training sessions.
  • · Monitor the progress of MES adoption through data collection and analysis across multiple sites.

A Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, IT, Supply Chain, or a related discipline is required. A minimum of two years of relevant experience may substitute for the degree requirement.

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills to quickly adapt to systems and resolve reported issues effectively.

A solid background in customer service is essential, particularly in supporting system users and leading training initiatives.
