Radiation Oncology Specialist

About the Position:
Columbus Regional Health is seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist to join our multidisciplinary Cancer Care team. As a Radiation Therapist, you will play a critical role in delivering prescribed radiation treatments to patients with various forms of cancer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver radiation treatments to patients, ensuring accurate and safe administration.
- Prepare patients and treatment rooms for therapy sessions.
- Collaborate with oncologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate records and reports, adhering to regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Radiation Therapy Technology or a related field.
- Registered Radiologic Technologist Certification (ARRT).
- Indiana License as a Radiation Therapist within 30 days of hire.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
Work Environment:
This full-time position requires working Monday through Friday, 40 hours a week, with a holiday and on-call rotation. The employee must be able to stand, walk, and use hands to perform tasks, as well as occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds.
Compensation and Benefits:
The hourly base rate for this position starts at $32.28, with individual compensation determined by years of relevant experience. A comprehensive benefits package is available for qualifying positions.
