About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Cath Lab team at Heart Hospital of Austin. As a key member of our cardiovascular care team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the delivery of high-quality patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Assess and manage patients with a broad range of cardiovascular conditions, including coronary artery disease, heart failure, and arrhythmias.
  • Administer medications and monitor patient response, including the use of emergency equipment and medications to manage life-threatening dysrhythmias or hemodynamic changes.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination and patient satisfaction.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest cardiovascular technologies and treatments.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
Requirements
  • 1 year of clinical nursing experience as a Registered Nurse (RN)
  • 1 year of Cath Lab experience in a cardiovascular setting - preferred
  • Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN)
  • Current State of Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license or Compact Registered Nursing License. If Compact License, Texas license must be obtained within 90 days of hire
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification per St. David's Healthcare policy
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification per St. David's Healthcare policy
