Job Summary

This role is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth operation of the front desk and phone lines. The successful candidate will be a team player who can multitask, maintain confidentiality, and adhere to regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage phone lines and front desk operations to ensure a high level of customer service and safety
  • Assist the Center Director in all aspects of the Center, including implementing policies and procedures
  • Ensure all staff members are aware of and adhere to Center policies and procedures
  • Answer incoming calls, take accurate messages, and transfer calls as needed
  • Monitor traffic flow, greet patients and visitors, and ensure only authorized individuals enter the Center
  • Maintain confidentiality of patient and staff information
  • Perform clerical duties, including filing documents, maintaining attendance records, and submitting reports
  • Assist with obtaining completed enrollment and eligibility forms for the food program
  • Send out information update forms to parents/guardians and update patient information systems
  • Complete chart reviews, maintain documentation, and submit parent/guardian gas reimbursements for Medicaid transportation
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Center Director or Program Administrator
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Five (5) years of experience in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred
  • Clear Criminal Record Check, Arkansas Child & Adult Maltreatment Regulatory Checks, FBI Regulatory Check, including National Sex Offender Registry
  • Pass a drug screen (upon hire, annually, and/or randomly)
  • Clear Driving Record
Abilities Required
  • Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisors
  • Ability to work with children
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a busy environment
  • Ability to carry out instructions
  • Ability to clean efficiently and timely
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs
  • Ability to bend, stoop, stand, walk, pull, and reach for several hours per day
  • Ability to demonstrate basic computer skills
