Ultrasound Technologist Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our team at Radiology Ltd. in Tucson, AZ. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for performing general ultrasound procedures, including abdomen, pelvis, vascular, carotid, and venous Doppler studies.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough patient interviews and prepare patients for diagnostic imaging procedures
Adjust immobilization devices to obtain optimal views of specified body areas
Explain procedures to patients to reduce anxieties and obtain cooperation
Operate imaging equipment, determine exposure factors, and adjust controls to produce high-quality images
Process images, review for quality control, and send to PACS for reading by radiologists or requesting physicians
Communicate with supervisors regarding equipment maintenance, malfunctions, and minor repairs
Complete forms, maintain records, logs, and reports of work performed

Requirements:

Current ARDMS certification in Abdominal and Vascular
Two years of clinical experience preferred
Ability to stand, bend, squat, and lift at least 50 lbs
