About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Retail Sales Associate. As a key member of our sales floor team, you will be responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and adhering to all operational and merchandise standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service, engaging with customers and embodying our customer experience principles
  • Support and maintain a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect
  • Accurately process customer purchases and returns, and count change back to customers according to established procedures
  • Promote credit and loyalty programs to customers
  • Maintain and uphold merchandising philosophy and follow established merchandising procedures and standards
  • Process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor, following company procedures and standards
  • Initiate and participate in store recovery as needed throughout the day
  • Maintain all organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards for the sales floor and participate in the maintenance/cleanliness of the entire store
  • Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback
  • Adhere to all labor laws, policies, and procedures
  • Support and participate in store shrink reduction goals and programs
  • Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment
Requirements
  • Possess excellent customer service skills
  • Able to work a flexible schedule to support business needs
  • Possess strong communication and organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Capable of multi-tasking
  • Able to respond appropriately to changes in direction or unexpected situations
  • Capable of lifting heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Works effectively with peers and supervisors
  • Retail customer experience preferred

This position has a starting pay range of $15.95 to $16.45 per hour. Actual starting pay is determined by a number of factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
