We are seeking a Senior Materials Analyst who will collaborate closely with production and operational teams. This role encompasses the management of material inventory audits and the logistical handling of materials within the production environment. Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop work order releases based on comprehensive production schedules and inventory needs.
  • Assess and coordinate program demands to ensure a seamless flow of materials and services.
  • Provide updates on work progress, material availability, and potential production challenges to guarantee that resources are available as required.
  • Engage daily in confirming material supply and demand, facilitating cross-departmental collaboration as necessary.
  • Formulate and refine manufacturing production schedules, adapting processes as needed.
  • Monitor material availability and troubleshoot system issues effectively.
  • Expedite processes when necessary to ensure timely material delivery.
  • Proactively manage risks associated with short-term material shortages to ensure successful delivery outcomes.

Required Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree coupled with two years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related discipline.
  • Proven experience in Operations, Production Control, Supply Chain, or Material Management.
  • Familiarity with Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems and processes.
  • A valid U.S. government-issued security clearance is mandatory prior to commencement. U.S. citizenship is required for security clearance eligibility.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in SAP systems.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, OneNote, Visio).

Compensation:

The salary range for this position is between $64,000 and $128,000, reflecting various experience levels. RTX considers multiple factors when extending offers, including role responsibilities, candidate experience, and key skills.
