About the Role

Hugg & Hall Equipment Company is seeking a skilled Equipment Mechanic to join our team in the shop. As a full-service equipment dealer, we specialize in industrial and construction equipment, and we're proud to have been named one of the Best Places to Work in 2023 by Arkansas Business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and repair various types of material handling and construction equipment to ensure they meet operational and safety standards.
  • Effectively communicate with sales teams, coordinators, managers, and customers regarding equipment downtime and job progress updates.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision, prioritizing efficiency and safety while minimizing equipment downtime.

Requirements
  • Minimum 1 year of mechanical training or experience in a related field
  • Possession of or ability to obtain a complete set of tools
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to obtain equipment operator certifications
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics
  • High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred Skills
  • General knowledge of operating various equipment
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
