Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate, coach, and execute HR activities in the functional areas of recruitment and selection, classification and compensation, employee relations, performance management, audit and compliance.
  • Develop methods and procedures for compiling and analyzing data for reports and special projects as needed.

  • Knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulations.

Requirements

  • Advanced Degree in Human Resources or other business-related field, or bachelors with significant related professional experience.
  • Previous experience providing HR support (as HR Assistant or HR Coordinator).
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple, complex projects and day-to-day operations independently.
  • Experience independently developing, implementing, and maintaining accurate, auditable, and secure human resources records.
  • Strong computer skills including experience with Microsoft Office suite.
  • Experience and interest in HR data gathering and analysis.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional HR certification such as PHR, SPHR, CCP, etc.
  • HR experience in a college or university setting.
  • Preferred experience with Banner and PageUp.
