Key Responsibilities
  • Apply technical knowledge to solve routine problems and perform maintenance, repair, and installation of electronic systems and equipment.
  • Work under immediate supervision and achieve technical guidance as required from supervisor or higher-level technician.
  • Perform overhauls and repairs on various shipboard electronics systems, including High Frequency (HF), Radio Frequency (RF), and Digital Modular Radio (DMR).
  • Operate and maintain electronic test equipment, including logic analyzers and digital oscilloscopes.
  • Interface effectively with technical and management personnel to ensure smooth operation of electronic systems.
Requirements
  • Two (2) years recent C4ISR or other relevant experience in troubleshooting, maintenance, repair, installation, and deinstallation of electronic systems, equipment, components, antennas, cables, cableways, waveguides, and ducts.
  • Operational knowledge of URN-25, WSC-3, USQ-122, SSR-1, URT-23, DAMA, WRL-8, and STC-2 is a plus.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
