Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare all food items per menu requirements, following designated recipes and ensuring quality, temperature, and appearance are preserved.
  • Prepare plates and garnish food items to be served to residents and guests, maintaining a high level of presentation and attention to detail.
  • Coordinate food production to align with meal service hours, ensuring timely and efficient service.
  • Monitor food temperatures and implement proper food storage techniques to maintain a safe and sanitary environment.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to state and local health standards.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • One year of experience as a prep cook or similar position.
  • State Certified in Safe Food Handling and Sanitation if state certification program exists.
