Job Summary:

The Dentist position at Hudson Headwaters Health Network requires strong communication skills, expertise in practicing medicine in a health center setting, and sensitivity to the perceptions of other practitioners. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering appropriate dental care to patients in a timely and efficient manner, adhering to standards of care and maintaining accurate electronic medical records.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnosis and Treatment: Diagnose and treat diseases, injuries, and malformations of teeth and gums, and related oral structures.
  • Patient Examination: Examine patients to determine the nature of their condition, utilizing x-rays, dental instruments, and other diagnostic procedures.
  • Preventive Dental Services: Provide preventive dental services to patients.
  • Clinical Dental Care: Provide clinical dental care to patients in an effective and efficient manner in accordance with standards of care.
  • Documentation and Coding: Document patient information in electronic medical records in a timely and accurate manner, maintaining high levels of coding accuracy.
  • Productivity and Efficiency: Provide care efficiently, meeting or exceeding productivity thresholds, and utilizing staff resources effectively.
Professional Qualifications:

To be considered for this position, candidates must be licensed to practice medicine in New York State, meet all Network credentialing requirements, and demonstrate the necessary skills, knowledge, and leadership abilities to fulfill the requirements of the position.

Compensation:

The salary for this position is $185,000, based on experience and credentials.
