Job Summary:

The Regional Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the activities of the maintenance department to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and building codes. This includes ensuring the center is maintained in a clean, attractive, and orderly condition, free from hazards caused by electrical, plumbing, ventilation, heating, and cooling systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of the maintenance department to ensure compliance with regulations and building codes.
  • Develop and implement a preventive maintenance program to maintain the center's physical function.
  • Process and maintain records of accounts payable, supplies received, equipment maintenance, and other department business.
  • Work with residents, nurses, physicians, department leaders, and other staff members regarding environmental services requests, infection prevention, and service resolution opportunities.
  • Communicate and consult with management on best practices and provide timely follow-up for information to requesting departments.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma.
  • One to two years of supervisory experience in a commercial establishment with knowledge of laundry/housekeeping/maintenance procedures.
  • Minimum of 2 years work experience in long-term care preferred.
  • HVAC experience.
  • Maintenance experience.
  • Healthcare experience preferred but can be trained if needed.
