Job Title: Host/Hostess

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Host/Hostess to join our Front of the House team at Hillwood Country Club. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our members and guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Welcome members and guests warmly and ensure they feel comfortable and attended to during their visit.
  • Manage reservations effectively and allocate tables efficiently.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with members and guests, providing information about menu specials, events, and club amenities.
  • Handle complaints or issues with professionalism and efficiency, striving to resolve them to the satisfaction of the member or guest.
  • Work closely with the kitchen and waitstaff to ensure smooth service flow and coordinate seating and table turnover effectively.
  • Maintain a clean and organized dining area and lobby throughout service hours.
  • Understand and adhere to the etiquette and protocol expected in a private club setting.
  • Collaborate effectively with other staff members to ensure seamless service delivery.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a similar role in a private club or high-end restaurant setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
  • Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
