Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician II to join our team at ChristianaCare. As a Pharmacy Technician II, you will play a critical role in supporting the pharmacist assigned to Investigational Drug Services research activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Initiate and maintain investigational studies, ensuring compliance with regulatory bodies
  • Provide education and training to pharmacy staff on various studies and protocols
  • Monitor study progress and communicate with principal investigators and research coordinators
  • Prepare quarterly billing for pharmacy services and Investigational Drug activity reports
  • Track enrolled patients and cost avoidance/savings from IDS studies
  • Serve as the primary pharmacy contact for site monitors and coordinators
Requirements
  • High School Diploma required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • At least 3 years of pharmacy experience required; 1 year of experience in infusion or hospital pharmacy preferred
  • Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) certification required
  • Academic course work in research methods or equivalent training through work experience preferred
