Job Summary

Wagner Equipment Co. is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and accurate processing of customer and shop credits, as well as performing various housekeeping tasks to maintain a safe and organized work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process customer and shop credits in a timely and accurate manner
  • Perform housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Check orders for accuracy and completeness
  • Work cooperatively with fellow team members to achieve warehouse and parts goals
  • Follow all safety rules and regulations when completing job responsibilities
  • Interface with internal and external customers to resolve any issues or concerns
  • Pull parts according to customer and shop orders and deliver to packing area
  • Identify required delivery method and pack parts accordingly
  • Prepare freight for delivery by shipper, secure to pallet, and complete shipping paperwork
  • Receive shipments, verify accuracy of parts and quantity, and inventory parts
  • Place parts on shelves and fill emergency back orders as needed
  • Drive parts to designated location as required
  • Operate a forklift to move parts and materials
  • Assemble hoses as a secondary function
  • Conduct core inspections as assigned

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Ability to operate a forklift
  • Basic familiarity with light industrial equipment, including saws, hoisting equipment, and hose presses

Work Environment

  • Loud environment
  • Indoors and outdoors

Physical Demands

  • Standing, walking, talking, sitting, use of hands, and hearing
  • Squatting/Kneeling
  • Ability to ascend/descend ladders, stairs, etc.
  • Heavy work that includes lifting and/or moving objects up to 94 pounds or more
