Job Description:

In accordance with state and federal regulations, assists the pharmacist in the practice of pharmacy, under direct supervision. Performs various tasks to support the Pharmacy Department, including assisting with inventory management, processing prescriptions, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assists pharmacists in the performance of pharmacy duties, including filling prescriptions and processing patient information.
  • Uses pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information, and processes prescriptions accurately and efficiently.
  • Provides excellent customer service, engaging with customers and patients to ensure a positive experience.
  • Assists with inventory management, including ordering, unpacking, and storing shipments of pharmaceuticals.
  • Performs other tasks as assigned by the Pharmacy Manager, including clerical duties and assisting with clinical services.
Requirements:
  • Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
  • Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
  • Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
  • Prefer good math skills and computer skills.
