Pharmacy Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Walgreens. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications, including counting, measuring, and weighing medications.
• Process prescriptions, including verifying patient information and medication orders.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medication lists and allergy information.
• Provide excellent customer service, answering questions and addressing concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
• Work collaboratively with the pharmacy team to ensure efficient and effective operation of the pharmacy department.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; PTCB certification preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Basic computer skills, including proficiency in pharmacy software and systems.
