We are seeking an experienced Endocrinology Nurse Practitioner to join our team at the Necnic Group in Sacramento, CA.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will assess and care for patients with endocrine conditions, perform physical examinations, and collaborate with department colleagues to ensure smooth patient care.
Essential Responsibilities- Conduct age-appropriate patient assessments, including history taking and physical examinations.
- Consult with patients and healthcare providers to ensure effective patient care.
- Review medical records and order diagnostic studies under established protocols.
- Maintain effective communication with healthcare providers and departments for continuity of care.
- Establish effective working relationships with the healthcare team, patients, and families.
- Demonstrate responsibility and accountability for professional practice, including participation in staff development and performance improvement activities.
- At least one (1) year of experience as an NP providing care for endocrine conditions within the past three (3) years.
- Specialized training in endocrinology.
- Experience in caring for Type 1 diabetes and patients with insulin pumps and CGMS software for diabetes management.
- Certification as a Diabetes Educator (CDE) is a plus.
Competitive hourly compensation: $97.22 - $115.48
