Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Endocrinology Nurse Practitioner to provide high-quality patient care in Sacramento, CA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in endocrinology and the ability to assess and care for patients with complex medical conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including history taking and physical examinations.
  • Collaborate with supervising physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure effective patient care.
  • Order diagnostic studies and interpret results under established protocols.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed medical records.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in staff development and performance improvement activities to enhance clinical practice and patient outcomes.

Requirements:

  • At least one year of experience as an NP providing care for endocrine conditions within the past three years.
  • Specialized training in endocrinology and experience caring for patients with Type 1 diabetes.
  • Certification as a Diabetes Educator (CDE) is strongly encouraged.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) and Nurse Practitioner (NP) in California.
