Position Overview
We are looking for a Manufacturing Operations Supervisor to oversee our production activities and manage the development of team members on their respective shifts.

Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily and monthly operations within the manufacturing department, ensuring accountability for all production activities.
- Advocate for safety and compliance with cGMP regulations, adhering to all current FDA guidelines.
- Implement operational strategies to maximize equipment and personnel efficiency, ensuring timely product delivery to both internal and external clients.
- Conduct computerized inventory transactions to maintain compliance with master formulae and support logistics and finance in tracking inventory needs.
- Promptly report any production schedule deviations to management and logistics, taking proactive steps to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with the Technical Services Group on experimental and validation projects utilizing process equipment and facilities.
- Ensure all processes align with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to maintain product quality.
- Regularly assess facility and equipment conditions, initiating repairs and maintenance as necessary to safeguard personnel and assets.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety within the production environment.
- Investigate manufacturing discrepancies and report findings to Quality Assurance, implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Develop and revise SOPs and Batch Production Records (BPRs) in compliance with cGMPs.
- Monitor quality control data and adjust operating conditions based on validated limits.
- Train operators in proper procedures and evaluate their performance through regular assessments.
- Facilitate effective communication of policies, job statuses, and issues among team members.

Qualifications
- Associate's degree with 4+ years of experience or Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of experience in manufacturing operations, preferably within the pharmaceutical sector, or 7+ years of relevant experience.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to organize, plan, and manage effectively.
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed.
- Proficient in word processing and spreadsheet applications.
- Basic mathematical skills and knowledge of cGMP compliance.

Physical Requirements
- The role involves frequent sitting, using hands and fingers, and reaching with arms. Occasional standing, walking, and lifting/moving up to 30 pounds are required.
