Job Summary:

Atlantic Medical Management (AMM) is seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant or Family Practice Nurse Practitioner to join our team in Cary, NC.

We offer a unique balance between work and personal time, a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, and consideration for experience. Responsibilities:

  • Manage patient healthcare within mutually agreed-upon protocols by physicians and physician extenders.
  • Assess patient health status and design individualized healthcare management plans in collaboration with other healthcare professionals.
  • Provide patients with written clinical summaries at relevant office visits.
  • Be responsible for assessing and referring patients to other resources for care management support.
  • Use motivational interviewing techniques to assess patient readiness to change.
  • Systematically monitor and provide follow-up on tests and labs.
  • Assist with patient care management and update physicians on patients' status.
  • Follow standing orders for services outlined by practice guidelines and procedures.
  • Remain involved in contributing and supporting quality improvement activities.

Requirements:

  • Completion of an accredited graduate-level Advanced Practice Provider (APRN or PA) program.
  • One year of experience in family practice preferred.
  • Licensed as a Physician Assistant in the state of North Carolina or current unrestricted North Carolina RN license and NP license.
