Job Summary

Veregy, an Energy Transition Company, is seeking a highly skilled HVAC Foreman to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for supervising and directing the installation, modification, and repair of HVAC & Plumbing related systems and equipment in commercial and industrial environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all size projects and often multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Supervise installers and apprentices on projects, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.
  • Develop and implement daily hazard prevention plans, facilitate weekly safety meetings, and report safety incidents to the safety department and superiors.
  • Manage project quality control plans, project layouts, and trade coordination, attending trade coordination meetings on job sites as needed.
  • Provide direction on layouts, installation standards, means and methods, and address quality issues, performing regular quality checks and identifying deficiencies for correction.
  • Manage equipment and materials associated with projects, including material ordering, site storage, staging, laydown, and material deliveries, as well as tools and equipment associated with projects.
  • Manage the 3-week look ahead, work to identify labor needs for job sites, and carry out disciplinary actions for staff on site if needed.
  • Coordinate with Startup techs/crews and manage project scope, daily reports, and job site documentation as required.
  • Manage day-to-day interface with customers and general contractors, as well as tracking for all T&M and other field-generated changes.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or General Education (GED) equivalent; or three (3) + years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of two (2) to three (3) years as a Foreman required.
  • Experience with HVAC & Plumbing materials, components, equipment, systems, methods of installation, safety procedures, safe work practices, sizing, and other calculations required.
