About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced educator to join our team as a Project Lead the Way (PLTW) Engineering Teacher at Area Cooperative Educational Services (ACES). As a key member of our educational team, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and hands-on engineering education to our students in grades 6-12.

Key Responsibilities

  2. Hands-on Projects: Lead and facilitate various hands-on projects and activities, encouraging students to apply engineering principles in real-world scenarios and fostering a collaborative and inclusive learning environment.
  3. Classroom Management: Maintain a safe and organized learning environment, ensuring that classroom rules and procedures are established and consistently followed, and manage student behavior effectively.
  4. Professional Development: Stay updated with the latest trends, developments, and best practices in engineering education and incorporate them into your teaching strategies, engaging in professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and expertise.
  5. Collaboration: Collaborate with other STEM teachers, faculty members, and school leadership to integrate PLTW Engineering concepts into cross-curricular activities and promote a cohesive learning experience for students.
