Job Summary and Qualifications
The Clinical Coordinator organizes, coordinates, and facilitates patient care assignments within the department for all operating hours. This role includes performing delegated management duties assigned by the Respiratory Manager/Director, consistent with the scope of practice and competence.

The Clinical Coordinator demonstrates an understanding of budget processes and staffing plans, implementing cost-effective strategies in staffing and supply management decisions. Responsibilities also include performing all duties outlined in the job description of a Respiratory Therapist, participating in interviewing, monitoring, coaching, evaluating, and disciplinary processes.

Position Requirements:
Registered Respiratory Therapist required. NBRC-RRT credential required. Registered Pulmonary Function Technician or Registered Cardiopulmonary Technician or eligible preferred.
Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS through AHA or ARC required.
Neonatal Resuscitation Program required. Neonatal Pediatric Specialist preferred; Adult Critical Care Specialist preferred. Graduate of an AMA accredited Respiratory Therapist program with 3 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist. Effective verbal and written communication skills are essential for clear communication with staff, patients, and physicians.

Knowledge of respiratory principles and procedures is crucial. The Clinical Coordinator implements and coordinates respiratory care for patients based on cardiopulmonary assessments.
