Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Member Center Manager at Beacon Credit Union. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for directing the day-to-day activities of our member center, ensuring exceptional service delivery, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management
    • Direct and motivate a team of staff to provide professional, courteous, and prompt service to members.
    • Develop and implement effective performance evaluations, training programs, and disciplinary actions to ensure staff are equipped to meet business objectives.
  • Member Service and Support
    • Respond to member inquiries and resolve grievances in a timely and professional manner.
    • Perform member transactions, account opening, and maintenance duties as needed.
  • Business Growth and Development
    • Monitor and analyze member center performance data to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
    • Develop and implement strategies to increase deposit, loan, and membership activity, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives.
  • Compliance and Risk Management
    • Ensure all activities are in compliance with established credit union policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
    • Identify and mitigate potential risks to the business, ensuring a safe and secure operating environment.
Requirements
  • Minimum one to three years of experience in a similar or related role, preferably in a credit union or financial services environment.
  • Prior management experience is highly desirable.
  • Equivalent to a four-year degree or proven ability through prior experience.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and lead a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on driving business growth and improvement.
Working Conditions

The Member Center Manager will work a standard schedule of Monday and Tuesday 8:15-5:15, Wednesday 9-1, Thursday 8:15-5:15, Friday 8:15-5:15 or 6:15, and Saturday 8:15-12:15. Hours may vary based on member center coverage needs. One to two Saturdays off per month as staffing allows.
