We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as a Commercial Flooring Vice President. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to achieve business objectives and targets.
As a senior executive, you will oversee the management of multiple projects, including collaboration with suppliers, architects, designers, and contractors to choose products that fit budget and project specifications. You will also build and maintain relationships with general contractors, end users, and architects, offering presentations on flooring options, installation, and maintenance.
Job Responsibilities:
IC Candidates:
• Collaborate with suppliers, architects, designers, building owners, and contractors to choose products that fit budget and project specifications.
• Build and maintain relationships with general contractors, end users, and architects, offering presentations on flooring options, installation, and maintenance.
• Compile and manage a list of potential customers for sales leads.
• Submit pricing quotes, verify contract accuracy, and oversee project coordination, including RFIs, submittals, materials ordering, and scheduling.
• Conduct job site visits for quality control, handle project changes and cost proposals, and ensure timely and proper installation.
• Work with the project team to manage change orders, billings, and close-out documentation.
Leadership Candidates:
• Provide leadership and direction to all departments within the designated location.
• Develop and implement strategies to achieve business objectives and targets.
• Monitor financial performance and operational metrics, taking corrective actions as necessary.
• Foster a culture of excellence, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
• Act as the primary liaison between the company and local authorities, community organizations, and other external stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Oversee the recruitment, training, and development of staff to maintain a high-performing team.
• Develop and manage key relationships with Suppliers and Customers.
Job Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience in commercial flooring construction and installation. We are not looking for distributor/manufacturer representatives.
• P&L Experience and/or Sales Management Experience.
• Experience with RFMS, Measure, Callidus, Measure Square preferred from Estimating candidates.
