Position Overview:
Vaco Memphis is collaborating with our manufacturing partner to find a dedicated Risk Management and Insurance Manager.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with the broader Finance Treasury team of the organization.
- Design and implement insurance programs tailored to our evolving risks as we transition from a startup to a more established entity.
- Oversee funding initiatives, ensuring comprehensive management of all debt servicing obligations.
- Handle renewals for all property and casualty insurance lines.
- Prepare underwriting submissions for each insurance placement.
- Assess risk financing structures.
- Develop and enhance core Treasury processes and systems, focusing on:
- Accurate short-term and long-term cash forecasting.
- Systematic payment processes and controls.
- Cash and liquidity management.
- Daily reconciliation of bank account records.

- Manage various transaction types, including loan activities, supplier payments, payroll, and benefits, ensuring timely execution.
- Continue to refine Treasury policies and controls.
- Build and maintain collaborative relationships with all stakeholders, including insurance brokers, third-party administrators, actuaries, and loss prevention consultants.
- Work with both internal and external resources to ensure precise insurance and loss budgeting, reserving, and reporting.
- Partner with stakeholders across the organization to proactively identify and mitigate operational risks.
- Provide expert advice on coverage selections, insurance structures, policy language, and the overall protection of our personnel, assets, and brand.
- Assist in formulating claims handling and reporting policies.
- Review contracts for insurance and indemnity stipulations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Treasury, Banking, or related Finance role, specifically with commercial property and casualty insurance programs.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, risk management, or a related field.
- Strong analytical abilities, complemented by Finance/Treasury business acumen.
- Self-motivated with a proven ability to strategically resolve issues in a dynamic environment.
- Capacity to manage details while juggling multiple tasks and meeting critical deadlines.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Proficient in Excel.
- General knowledge of insurance payment processes (SWIFT, ACH).

Preferred Qualifications:
- MBA in accounting or finance.
- Familiarity with SAPARM, CRM, CPCU, or other insurance certifications.
- Experience managing claims related to loan transactions, grants, or other incentives.
