Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer and maintain the IT infrastructure required to support manufacturing operations, including physical and virtual servers, Active Directory domains, and network security.
  • Collaborate with the IT Infrastructure team to establish network specifications and provide resources for the Service Desk in resolving network and systems-related issues.
  • Work closely with plant engineering and electrical teams to implement necessary changes in the environment while following the engineering and IT change management process.
  • Liaise with outside vendors to troubleshoot and correct issues.
  • Mentor and train IT teammates in systems administration and troubleshooting tasks.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Minimum of 4-7 years of IT experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.
  • Working knowledge of plant operations communication systems, Windows desktop operating systems, and network security.
  • Service Desk level 2-3 capable.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills, including root cause analysis.
  • Self-starter with ability to work in a team environment with limited direction.
  • Systems thinker with ability to link company strategy and job contribution to company objectives.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrate commitment to zero incident safety culture, teammate engagement, and continuous improvement.
