Job Summary

Depot Connect International is seeking a skilled Confined Space Entry Monitor to join our team. This role is responsible for ensuring the safety of our employees and contractors while working in confined spaces.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and protect entrants in confined spaces
  • Perform fire watch duties and ensure ventilation is in use
  • Verify entrants are wearing required PPE and have completed pre-entry meter readings
  • Perform non-entry rescue using RSRL or mechanical rescue device
  • Summon rescue and other services during an emergency
  • Prevent unauthorized people from entering permit spaces
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Experience in confined space entry or related field is a plus
Work Environment

The Confined Space Entry Monitor will work in a shop environment, exposed to ambient temperatures, typical shop lighting, and mechanical equipment. Personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, hearing protection, and steel toe shoes will be required.
