Compunnel Inc. is seeking a skilled Composite Technician to join our team.
Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Composite Technician to work on various composite repair and fabrication projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in composite materials and manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Follow engineering and manufacturing specifications to determine parts to be bonded and the temperature and pressure required.
- Cut parts or materials to size using precision measuring instruments.
- Apply sealing resins to cut or exposed edges to ensure a strong bond.
- Obtain required information from prints, charts, sketches, work orders, documents, and electronic information.
- Perform routine minor machine maintenance and ensure equipment and tool certification occurs per procedure.
- Move product within the manufacturing work area and complete transactions necessary to move product to the next operation.
Requirements:
- 2-5 years of composite repair experience is required.
- Aerospace experience is mandatory.
- Ability to work any shift and overtime/weekends as per business needs.
- Ability to stand for entire 8 hours of shift.
