Nurse Practitioner Role at CVS Health

CVS Health is seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team. As a Nurse Practitioner at CVS Health, you will provide high-quality patient care, work collaboratively with our healthcare team, and contribute to the success of our organization.
Responsibilities- Provide primary and family evidence-based care, including accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management of health problems, health counseling, and disposition planning for patients.
- Perform administrative duties, such as opening and closing the clinic, inventory management, patient follow-up, verifying insurance, and collecting payment.
- Be responsible for handling patient appointments, performing routine examinations, and ensuring positive patient health outcomes.
- Encourage patients to become active participants in their own healthcare and well-being through services such as health screenings, behavioral health, and wellness programs.
- Master's Degree level Family Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant program with current National Board Certification and State of Employment license to practice in the Advanced Practice role.
- Minimum of two years of medically relevant experience or equivalent.
- Complete the DOT certification exam within 30 days of employment.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, including performing CPR and operating an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).
- One year of work experience as a licensed provider, prior student precepting rotation with MinuteClinic is preferred, but not required.
