Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Nurse Midwife to join our team at TriHealth. As a Nurse Midwife, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to women and their families in our Women's OB/GYN department.

Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive midwifery care to patients, including prenatal, delivery, and postpartum care.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients, taking into account their unique needs and preferences.
  • Conduct routine check-ups, perform physical exams, and order diagnostic tests as needed.
  • Deliver babies and provide postpartum care to new mothers.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families on various health topics, including pregnancy, childbirth, and women's health.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Nursing with a focus on Nurse Midwifery.
  • Certification by the American College of Nurse-Midwives.
  • Current Ohio CNM licensure.
  • 1-2 years of experience in nurse-midwifery practice, with new grads welcome.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information.
Working Conditions

This is a full-time position, working 40 hours per week. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on patient care and satisfaction.
