Silver Oaks Behavioral Hospital is seeking a highly qualified Nurse Practitioner to fill the role of Intake Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. This position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, providing comprehensive psychiatric care to patients and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
As an Intake Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, you will conduct initial assessments, develop treatment plans, and coordinate decision-making with the psychiatrist. You will also participate in weekly staffing and family sessions, prescribe pharmacologic interventions as necessary, and review laboratory and diagnostic test results.
To be successful in this role, you will need excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a strong understanding of psychiatric nursing procedures, and experience working in a psychiatric setting.
