Creative Financial Staffing is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join their team. This role will focus on accounting and reporting for the firm's management company, general partner entities, and investment operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the maintenance of books and records, cash management, and monthly closes.
  • Manage capital allocations, deal flow, and prepare capital calls and distributions.
  • Leverage internal capital allocation software to generate comprehensive portfolio reports.
  • Analyze and navigate complex entity structures for tax compliance and financial reporting.
  • Prepare and submit external tax and regulatory filings.
  • Handle fixed asset accounting, including reconciliations, and ensure data accuracy.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements and assist in system enhancements.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 4 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably within investment management or public accounting.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting (CPA designation preferred)
  • Advanced Excel skills, with the ability to manage large datasets and create reporting tools.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively present financial data.
  • High attention to detail, with a structured, process-driven approach to accounting.
  • Experience working with accounting systems or ERP software.
