Job Summary

Telecare Corporation is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate individual to join our team as a Registered Behavior Technician. In this role, you will provide rehabilitative support services for adults with developmental disabilities, utilizing applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles and natural environment training arrangements.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct client care in 1:1 and group settings, utilizing ABA principles and natural environment training arrangements.
  • Collect, record, and summarize data on observable client behavior.
  • Collaborate with the individual support team and partnering agencies to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Prepare meals and snacks, involving clients in meal preparation tasks to the extent they choose to participate.
  • Transport clients to medical and dental appointments, and outside activities, as assigned by the Program Administrator or program designee.
Requirements
  • High School Graduation or G.E.D.
  • One (1) Year experience providing direct care to individuals with developmental disabilities with challenging behavior service needs.
  • Board certified as a Registered Behavior Technician within 60 days of initial employment or be a Qualified Behavior Modification Professional.
  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
  • Must be CPR, First Aid, and CPI certified (hands-on course) on date of employment or prior to providing direct client care and maintain current certification throughout employment.
Working Conditions

The physical demands of this position require manual dexterity, repetition, and the ability to lift and carry items weighing 50 pounds or less. The position also requires driving and exposure to uneven walking ground, as well as Hazardous Exposure (Blood Borne Pathogens, Hospital Waste, Chemical & Infectious).

Benefits

Telecare Corporation offers a competitive salary range of $31.51 hourly, with geographic differentials applied. Starting pay is commensurate with relevant experience above the minimum requirements.
